Can you believe that Ayilaran who more than
any Nigerian, has filed multiple cases in court against diverse persons is
afraid of a court trial?! In a scandalous manoeuvre and a classic example of
corruption fighting back, he has deployed a mole at the Federal Ministry of
Justice to block his seven ongoing criminal trials. As thousands of Nigerians
today face trials for one offence or another, why should Ayilaran not face
trial and let the courts pronounce him guilty or not? How is Nigeria going to
prosecute another pirate if Ayilaran is allowed to go free? Has our nation
become a Banana Republic?
