Buhari Already Has An Idea Of The Position Each Ministerial Nominee Will
Hold – Fashola
Former Lagos State Governor,
Babatunde Fashola has stated that top priorities for the President Muhammadu
Buhari-led government are security and economy.
The minister-designate told
All Africa.com that if infrastructures such as transport and energy gets
better, “goods and services and people will move much more efficiently and that
can only lead to productivity and the prosperity and quality of life that people
want to see.”
According to him, the
President is clearly focused on security that is dealing with the criminals who
now terrorize parts of the country in a faceless manner thereby posing
challenges to security of lives and property.
He added that the country
has begun to see results of his focus and that more will still be done.
When asked which ministerial
post he may hold, Fashola said only President Buhari can tell as he has a very
clear idea of what role he wants each ministerial nominee to play, prior to the
nomination.
