The highlight of the
2015 COSON Song Awards may very well be the presentation of the Mater Composer
Award, a Life Time Achievement award to the most prolific songwriter/composer
the Nigerian nation has produced, Ebenezer Remilekun Aremu Olasupo Obey-Fabiyi
known to many as Ebenezer Obey. This incredibly gifted Nigerian has composed
and recorded over one thousand songs. His beautiful and evergreen songs have
inspired many across the Nigerian nation and far beyond and indeed have been
the soundtrack of growing up for many Nigerians.
