COSON IN THE STREETS

On Tuesday, November 3, 2015, a rainbow of stars will give meaning to the dignity of labour as they clean the streets, control traffic and give alms to the needy with music on the move over the streets of Lagos.

ROUTE PLAN

1.     9.30 a.m.:     Stars and friends assemble at the National Theatre Entrance C at ‘Abe Igi’ – the COSTAIN entrance.

2.     10.00 a.m.:   The COSON IN THE STREETS convoy of stars departs the National Theatre on a mission to give back to the people of Lagos.

3.     From the National Theatre, the funky ‘train’ takes Eko Bridge into Lagos Island flying up and down the bridge at Apongbon.

4.     The COSON IN THE STREETS Convoy enters the Marina turning right at CMS Cathedral and passing through the Lagos DISCO, Bank of Industries, etc.

5.     With the NITEL Building (the tallest building in Nigeria) on the left, the ‘train’ takes right and hits the bridge turning off at the first exit into Awolowo Road Ikoyi.

6.     At the end of Awolowo Road, the ‘train’ will turn right and take the Falomo Bridge and enter Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue.

7.     At Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, the ‘train’ will cross the express and turn left past Eco Bank and Stanbic IBTC Place to Bonny Camp.

8.     At Bonny camp, the COSON Week celebrity convoy will turn left under the bridge into Ahmadu Bello Way.

9.     The convoy will drive past Federal Palace Hotel, Siverbird Galleria, NTA, and the Bar Beach stretch.

10.  The star ‘train’ will then turn left into Adetokunbo  Ademola Street and with music on the move, go past Eko Hotels & Suites.

11. At the Zenith Roundabout, the convoy will turn right into Ajose Adeogun St (otherwise known as Zenith Bank St).

12.  At the end of Ajose Adeogun, the convoy will turn left into Ligali Ayorinde.

13. The groovy ‘train’ will take the first right turn on Ligali Ayorinde into Akigbola.

14. At the end of the street, the ‘train’ of stars will turn right into Oba Yesufu Abiodun Way.

15. The stars will pass City of David, Havila Events Centre, Toscana Villa Hotel, the market at Akiogun Way into Lekki Express Way.

16. Once the convoy gets to the express, the stars will disembark.

17. Thereafter, every member of the group will take the pedestrian bridge into Lekki Phase 1 and the stars will visit the Lekki Orphanage Home with presents and love and for the kids.

18.  After the visit, the stars will walk back to the convoy and proceed on the Ajah Expressway.

19. The convoy will drive past Chevron on the way to a date with history.

20. The convoy will drive past the second tollgate to Mega Chicken where the train will anchor and the stars will have a free throw down giving their fans in the area unforgettable fun during the unforgettable COSON Week.
